- RIA Federal Tax Database [Details]
- To use RIA one must establish a user name and password while on Villanova's campus. From that point, access via the proxy server will be possible from other computers.
- Roper Center for Public Opinion Research [Details]
- First-time users have to register. The Roper Center has a large archive of public opinion information. It contains nearly 500,000 questions and responses from national public opinion surveys going back to 1935. Among the many survey sources are Gallup, Harris, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, ABC, CBS, CNN and NBC. The archive includes full datasets required to conduct bivariate and multivariate analyses using RoperExpress.
- ScienceDirect (Elsevier) [Details]
- ScienceDirect is a journal aggregator that features the full text or abstracts of many journals relevant in the Business world. The holdings in ScienceDirect do not always show up in E-Journal Finder or when using the Find it key from other databases, so be sure to check here if are not able to locate a title elsewhere.

- Our subscription to SDC Platinum includes only the Mergers and Acquisitions Database. To access SDC Platinum, please visit the Applied Finance Lab in Bartley Hall or goto Falvey Memorial Library and use one of our workstations on the first floor. - SRDS Media Solutions [Details]

- The Times Archives 1785-1985 [Details]
- The Times is the "world's newspaper of record" and covers all major international historical events from the French Revolution to the Falkland War. The entire newspaper is captured, with all articles, advertisements and illustrations/photos divided into categories to facilitate searching. It is a digital reproduction, cover to cover, of the paper in PDF files.
- ThomasNet Register of American Manufacturers [Details]
- Contains directory information on United States Companies, Services, and Products. Falvey owns the print version of the Register. Ask for it at the Reference Desk.
- United States Patent and Trademark Office: Trademark database [Details]
- The US Patent and Trademark Office Trademark Database contains the full bibliographic text of pending and registered trademarks.
- US Patent Full-text and Image Database [Details]
- The database consists includes information about all US patents (including utility, design, reissue, plant patents and SIR documents) from the first patent issued in 1790 to the most recent issue week. Patents from January 1976 to the present offer the full searchable text, including all bibliographic data, such as the inventor's name, the patent's title, and the assignee's name; the abstract; the full description of the invention; and the claims. The display of each patent's full-text includes a hyperlink to obtain full-page images of each page of the patent. Information from Certificates of Correction and Reexaminations is not included in the full-text database per se, but can be found as pages attached to the full-page images of the original patent. Patents from 1790 to December 1975 offer only the patent number and the current US patent classification in the text display, and can be searched only by those fields. However, this limited text display also includes a hyperlink to obtain full-page images of each page of the patent.

- Covers over 30,000 companies and includes security prices and trading volume, income and balance sheet items. Provides access to IBES' analyst projections for earnings and sales. WRDS also contains stock market indices, bond prices and interest rates, mutual fund and stock ownership information, options data, and a wide array of macroeconomic time series. International data, marketing and industry reports, and web usage data are also available on WRDS.
