Subject: MBA 8433 Industry Analysis For my MBA 8xxx class I'm researching the data processing services industry (Mastercard, Inc.) and I'm looking to find which database can provide the most detailed Industry statistics. Is there another site besides Market Insight that Villanova has access to that might provide me the kind of data I need for a detailed Industry analysis?

Answer by LibrarianSure, try: Valueline - analyst reports and historical financials. Mergent - allows you to compare financial variables against whatever companies you select. In print we also have titles like "industry norms and key business ratios" as well. Besides the S&P industry reports and their Stock reports there is also a "peer comparion" section available under the company research tab.
