Delivery & Returning Books by Mail
Book(s) Delivery
- Search VUCat by title, author, subject, or Boolean keyword to find books in the library collection.
- For each title, fill out and submit the request form at http://library.villanova.edu/About/Services/RequestForms/DistanceRequest
- The book(s) will be mailed directly to student using UPS. The student is responsible for the books until they are received back at this library.
- At this time, books can only be sent and returned within the U.S.
- The library reserves the right to limit the number of items mailed.
- Due dates will be assigned in accordance with standard library loan periods.
- Delivery Time: Plan ahead to account for delivery times. Please allow seven days for receipt of requested materials from Falvey Library.
Book(s) Return
- Books are to be returned using United Parcel Service (UPS).
- Please do not call for UPS to pickup books; the library will be charged a $5 fee for that service which will be passed onto the borrower.
- The library will accept the postmark date as the return date.
- Patrons are responsible for any damage or loss, including those occurring during shipment
Fines:
- Patron is responsible for any overdue fines.
- Fines are based on the date books arrive at the Library. Potential fines can be avoided by renewing books prior to return.
