Circulation Policies
The library provides delivery service for students currently registered only in Distance Learning courses, for faculty with remote appointments, and for graduate students (including doctoral, post-doctoral, and EMBA) who are completing coursework from remote locations. We will deliver Main Stacks materials requested by these students and faculty who reside over 25 miles from Villanova. For more information please see: Distance Learning Delivery Request Form
Books requested through the library's Library Catalog are charged to your record and sent to you via UPS. Copies of articles are transmitted to you electronically via the web. Our goal is to handle your request in an expedient manner; however, our services are dependent upon workload and other conditions beyond our control.
The library reserves the right to limit the number of items mailed.
Overdue fines will be charged if the items are received after the due date. However, you may renew most items on-line through your Library Account.
The library will not process the following materials for distance learning patrons:
- Books requested from other institutions through Interlibrary Loan or E-ZBorrow services. These materials must still be picked up at the library.
